When visiting, go to the newer building as the old, stand alone pro shop has been closed. The clubhouse features a restaurant and bar and practice facilities include a range with sand bunker, plus putting/shipping green. This is a course that has been around for a long time so don't expect the fancy clubhouse amenities or groomed cart paths and playing surfaces. Wedgefield is a value round with a fair price.structure.
There are 5 sets of tees designed to provide opportunities for golfers of all skill levels to enjoy a round here. The tips measure 7034 yards and play to a slope of 136. There are 48 sand bunkers situated along the landing zones on the gently rolling fairways or greenside, and water comes into play on 11 holes. Players will encounter gently raised greens complexes and mildly sloping putting surfaces that roll true. The fairways are tree lined along a mildly rolling terrain with several doglegs highlighting a good variety in hole design.
100, 150 and 200 yard markers are posted on all par fours and fives and color coded flags indicate front, middle or back hole locations. For more info, visit our page for the course with direct link to their website by clicking here.
